Job description

CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Specialist, to join a chemical manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire, on a temporary basis. This position will provide assistance with day to day EHS, within a leading Semiconductor and Electronic Materials manufacturing company, in process safety.

The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals and materials, supplying to many companies worldwide.

Your main duties will be:

  1. Develop and implement process safety management systems.
  2. Assist with process safety aspects of a chemical process site.
  3. Provide guidance on current legal requirements for hazardous chemicals handling.
  4. Undertake and lead accident investigations and create accident reports.
  5. Conduct risk assessments, safety studies and hazard analyses.

Your Background:
  1. Demonstrable experience of EHS legislation.
  2. Process safety qualification such as NEBOSH certificate.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of working experience in an EHS role, within a manufacturing environment.
  4. At least 3 years of work experience in specific Process Safety Engineering job roles.
