A new opportunity for an EHS Advisor role is available at our Thetford site.

This role ensures best-in-class EHS support for our facility and encourages a safe workplace. You will act as a critical liaison between management and employees, promoting safety across our workforce of 500+ employees.

What you will be doing:

As a member of the EHS team, you will coordinate the supervision of:
  • Environment: Wastewater, chemical and biological Waste, Air Emissions, Noise reduction, Water and Energy consumption
  • Workplace Safety: Machine guarding, Electrical safety, LOTO, fall prevention and working at heights
  • Industrial hygiene: Chemical, Physical, and Biological agents
  • Ergonomics: injury or illness from body motion or position
  • EHS legislation
What are we looking for?

We would love to hear from candidates who have experience in the following areas;
  • Workplace Risk assessments and internal audits
  • Accident and incident investigation and related CAPs
  • Nebosh qualified or willing to work towards the NEBOSH general certificate
  • IOSH as a minimum requirement
  • Emergency response plans, practices, and drills
  • Supporting facility services such as security, canteen, hygiene, waste disposal, recycling, and garden maintenance.
  • Confident using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels with contracted companies and implement plans to address any deficiencies.
  • Ensuring site security is maintained 24/7 and adequate cover is in place to deal with emergencies and foreseeable emergency events.
  • Ensure that all statutory obligations are identified and met in line with UK EHS law and other functional legal requirements.
