A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Temp-Perm Production Operative to join our well-established client in Avonmouth. In this role, you ll work in the bagging hall, overseeing machine operations, handling any breakdowns, and resolving issues as they arise.

Job Type: Temp-Perm

Immediate Start

Hourly Rate during the temporary assignment: GBP12 per hour (day and night shift), PLUS additional GBP35 per night shift

Annual Salary when permanent: GBP32,000 - GBP33,000pa (dependent on experience)

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (12-hour shifts)

Shift Times: 05:30 AM - 06:00 PM (30 minutes break)

Location: Avonmouth (Own transport required due to location)

Due to the training, the first few weeks would be worked solely on the night shift (working 05:30 PM - 06:00 AM)

Main Responsibilities:

Operate computer-controlled machine panels during production processes
Perform mechanical adjustments to machinery as needed
Investigate faults and report issues to shift supervisors
Conduct daily housekeeping and maintenance tasks, including cleaning and greasing
Maintain a clean and tidy work area throughout the shift
Inspect production regularly to ensure quality standards and minimize waste
Set up production lines and machinery
Ensure a steady supply of raw materials and packaging to machines
Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and wear required PPE
Follow risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems to ensure safe operation of machinery
Provide support to other departments and factories as needed
Load and unload materials using a forklift (training may be provided)
Perform other duties as required by supervisors and managers
