Job Description
Performing routine machinery inspections and maintenance tasks.
Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns and malfunctions.
Supporting the installation of new machinery and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Providing input into the development of preventative maintenance strategies.
Documenting all maintenance work for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize performance.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:
Electrical qualification or experience in electrical maintenance.
Experience working on control panels, emergency stops, circuits, and 415 motors.
Confident at fault finding.
Ability to work through electrical drawings and main plant control panels.
Apprentice trained.
Experience with Inspection and testing 2391 (a benefit but not essential).
Ideally trained to the latest 18th edition wiring regulations (a benefit but not essential).
Trained to 17th edition wiring regulations as a minimum.
