Part Time - Taste Drink Taster

Contract Type: Ongoing, 36 months plus (Part-Time, Mornings)

Working Hours: 3 Hours Per Day, 3 Days Per Week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (9 Hours Per Week)

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in comprehensive product and sensory-related training.
  2. Evaluate and characterise existing and new products and brands.
  3. Maintain scientific precision and controls as a sensory panellist.
  4. Undertake duties related to the upkeep of the sensory laboratory and panel.

As a Drinks Tester, your role is integral to gathering crucial data that shapes our client's product development strategies and steers their business decisions. This is an extraordinary opportunity for individuals with discerning taste buds and a passion for product evaluation to make a significant contribution in the world of FMCG brands.

Qualifications:

  1. General good health, with no allergies or intolerances, and good dental health.
  2. Attention to detail, coupled with strong perceptual and descriptive abilities.
  3. A passion for product evaluation and a willingness to explore new sensory experiences.
  4. Willingness to sample a diverse range of tastes and ingredients.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective team communication.
  6. Ability to receive and incorporate feedback in a positive and professional manner.
  7. Proficiency in computer skills.
  8. Excellent punctuality.
  9. Flexibility to participate in testing at short notice and adapt to changes.
  10. Ability to consume caffeine and alcohol as part of the role.

We are looking for individuals who can commit to this part-time, long-term project. Please note that a health questionnaire will be required as part of the application process.
