An established industry player is seeking a strategic Investment Counselor to join their Private Bank team. The Investment Counselor is a strategic professional who understands financial markets and the associated products to deliver the platform and capabilities of the Private Bank to their clients and prospects in collaboration with the relationship management team and other partners. They will be part of a small team with the same level of expertise and internally they bridge between the relationship management team and the product specialists.
The role requires excellent communication skills and emotional empathy with UHNW clients as well as colleagues internally, often working with senior level colleagues and high profile clients. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others. The role will have clear financial and relationship targets. Targets include business development, revenue generation, client satisfaction and asset gathering.
The Private Bank at Citi is part of Citi Wealth and offers a wide range of products and solutions, including investment strategies, banking and lending, trust and specialized services. The Private Bank delivers solutions to help meet the individual, family and business needs of over 10,000 ultra-high net worth clients around the world. The Private Bank is focused on clients with a minimum liquid net worth of $25mm and serves 40% of the world's billionaires and their families.
Investment Counselors joining Citi Private Bank will be distinguished and highly accomplished at establishing, growing and managing investment relationships with ultra-high net worth clients. They should be experienced in the implementation and oversight of investment solutions, and in providing advice and guidance on markets and actionable investment ideas. Appropriate candidates will possess the credibility to cultivate trusting relationships with existing ultra-high net worth clients of Citi Private Bank, and should be entrepreneurial and capable of bringing in new clients/investment relationships. Candidates for the position should be collaborative and team oriented, able to leverage a wide array of internal partners and to manage and learn a very broad product suite.
Candidates applying for this role must be aware that it is a Certified Role, subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
