Are you a Secondary Teacher interested in utilising your skills to make a difference to the lives of SEN students in Canterbury? Earn daily rates of £110-160, with higher earning potential for longer-term commitments. As a SEN specialist school, SEN experience is preferred, but a willingness to support education to a variety of young people with additional needs is key.

The ideal Secondary SEN Teacher will:

• Have experience teaching KS3/KS4 students preferably in SEN settings.
• Be adaptable and compassionate, catering to a range of learning needs.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to support individual student progress.
• Be comfortable working in specialist SEN environments, including ASD, SEMH, and PMLD settings.
• Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.

Secondary SEN Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK.
• Experience working with secondary-aged students, SEN experience an advantage.
• Ability to travel for work in Canterbury.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A patient, empathetic approach with a commitment to student development.
