Location: Manchester

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000

Barker Munro Recruitment is assisting a leading insurance organization in finding a motivated, professional, and dedicated Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of Employers Liability and Public Liability Cases. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, professional advice service to your clients regarding any claims issues.

Your primary task will be to liaise with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process, taking pride in exceeding your clients’ expectations. You will be a confident claims handler, managing claims from beginning to conclusion.

Your Role:

1. Dealing with Liability Claims up to £100,000.
2. Advising and updating clients about relevant events and discussions during their claims.
3. Efficiently managing claims and keeping the system updated with all relevant information.
4. Balancing your workload to service clients promptly and expertly.
5. Updating insurers and recovery agents, informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process.
6. Ensuring that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance with SLAs.

Your Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

1. Experience within the insurance or legal industry with expert liability claims handling knowledge.
2. Strong customer service drive along with good planning and analytical skills.
3. Ability to spot potential risks and seek advice when required.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
