Role Summary
We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our EMEA Marketing team. Working closely with the Senior Director of EMEA Marketing, Channel Marketing, and EMEA Customised Portfolio Solutions (CPS) Sales, the role will focus on developing and implementing marketing strategies and driving growth for our CPS pillar in EMEA, primarily covering the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and the Middle East for Wealth and institutional channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be collaborative, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a 12 month FTC to start end June 2025 to cover for maternity leave.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

  • Developing and implementing creative through-the-line marketing strategies that align with business objectives, enhance brand visibility, and help drive growth.
  • Working with EMEA CPS Sales leads to drive the marketing strategy for the EMEA CPS Pillar and deliver high quality, measurable activity.
  • Ensuring effective campaign management to deliver and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, including events, video, thought leadership, digital (including SEO), and the effective use of social media.
  • Ongoing website management, including content updates and campaign pages, supported and informed by SEO, analytics, and market insights.
  • Risk, budget, and process management, taking into account local market regulatory and compliance constraints/controls and budget restrictions.
  • Tracking and analysing key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Providing visibility of marketing initiatives and activities to stakeholders across the business.
  • Consistently demonstrating a good understanding of key trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with our external clients.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategy that builds the Russell Investments brand as a trusted partner in Customised Portfolio Solutions, strengthens our market position, fosters deeper client relationships, and drives long-term growth.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services Marketing, preferably in an Asset Manager, Investment Manager, or Wealth Manager.
  • Ability to confidently manage and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful, creative through-the-line marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategies, and content marketing.
  • Proven ability to work on multi-functional projects demonstrating excellent relationship building, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Experience of budget planning & management.
  • Understanding of financial promotions compliance.
  • Ability to promote and facilitate the work of a group, as well as contribute as a productive member of the team.
  • Participates fully by sharing responsibility and ideas, gives credit and recognition to others, shares information.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Used to monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Makes accurate use of logic and considers all relevant factors to make rational, realistic, and sound decisions.
  • Find ways to encourage others to feel ownership of solutions; wins over clients and suppliers.
  • Uncovers and meets the needs of both internal and external clients.
  • Maintains regular contact and builds strong working partnerships with media partners and suppliers.
