A bit about the job
Our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager plays a vital role in assisting the FB Manager in delivering a great guest experience. They are the real ambassadors of our company, committed to consistently delivering high standards.
What we need from you
Our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager are hardworking individuals who can work on their own initiative and are key players in our Food and Beverage teams.
They undertake all Food and Beverage responsibilities, including staff management and training, Health Safety, and overseeing all food and beverage outlets. They will work closely with the management team to deliver our core standards and provide our guests with a great stay every time.
Please see a summary of the responsibilities below. This list is not exhaustive:
- Support the FB Manager to develop, motivate and support your team to ensure that all company and department objectives and standards are met.
- Achieve food and beverage revenue targets and profit conversions.
- Assist the FB Manager in processing all invoices weekly and ensuring all purchase orders are agreed and signed by the General Manager before placement.
- Plan and manage staffing levels effectively in accordance with the hotel’s occupancy, events, forecasts, and budget.
- Achieve budgeted margins for liquor while ensuring all security and accounting procedures are implemented and monitored.
- Monitor and evaluate purchase requests in line with budget.
- Ensure all food and beverage staff are trained on product knowledge.
- Professionally address any queries from guests.
- Ensure all Food and Beverage outlets exceed service standards and achieve budget.
