Salary: Up to £75,000

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to drive innovation and ownership in infrastructure solutions for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues, collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Continuously improve infrastructure architecture, focusing on development, automation, and consistency.
• Lead the delivery of cloud-based resource templates and configuration baselines.
• Eliminate manual tasks, enhancing infrastructure health and performance.
• Implement policies for secure, efficient infrastructure management.
• Ensure maximum uptime and quick service delivery for physical and cloud-based workloads.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and tech teams to support security initiatives.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and ensure service delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor and technical authority within the engineering community.
• Define and report key metrics to demonstrate infrastructure effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience with Cloud services, ideally Azure but experience with AWS and GCP will be beneficial.
• Strong experience with modern infrastructure technologies.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and enterprise monitoring tools (Terraform or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls/Cisco Meraki equipment.
• Knowledge of IP networks, WAN, virtual servers, DHCP/DNS, SAN/NAS, and more.
• Ability to lead technical infrastructure projects and resolve complex issues.

In return, my client can offer a salary of up to £75,000 depending on experience, flexible hybrid working in Winchester, and other benefits.
