Job Title: Marketing Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Location: Hybrid / Travel to Sites in Essex/East London

About the Role:

Priority Recruitment is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing business with two key areas of focus: Children’s Nurseries and a Chartered Accountancy firm. Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead their marketing efforts, with a strong emphasis on the early development educational sector whilst also supporting the accountancy firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and creating content across digital platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, posters, and monthly business updates. They will also be able to travel between nursery sites located in Essex and East London, with all sites no more than a 30-minute drive from each other. The role provides a great opportunity to contribute to the business’s expansion plans and grow professionally within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation & Management: Develop and create engaging content for websites, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), posters, and statements to promote both the nurseries and accountancy services.
  2. Social Media Strategy: Design and implement social media strategies that align with business goals, ensuring content resonates with the target audience for both sectors.
  3. Site Visits: Travel between the nursery locations in Essex/East London (all sites within a 30-minute drive of each other) to capture engaging content (photos, videos, behind the scenes, etc.) and ensure the brand’s presence is strong across platforms.
  4. SEO & Content Optimisation: Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility across various digital platforms.
  5. Performance Analysis: Track and assess the performance of marketing campaigns and content, using insights to drive improvements and ensure the effectiveness of future strategies.
  6. Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms while tailoring content to the unique needs of each business.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and business owners to plan and execute marketing activities and campaigns.
  8. Campaign Management: Assist in the creation and execution of both digital and online marketing campaigns, including email newsletters and promotions.
  9. Monthly Updates: Manage monthly updates across platforms to keep content fresh, engaging, and aligned with business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Comfortable with travel between sites (Essex/East London) and flexibility to adapt to on the ground needs.
  2. Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  3. Strong understanding of how social media algorithms work and how to use them to optimise content reach and engagement.
  4. A creative mindset with the ability to produce high-quality content (photos, videos, copy).
  5. Strong knowledge of SEO and website content optimisation.
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to create content that resonates with different audiences.
  7. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in the education sector (particularly nurseries) and/or professional services (accountancy).
  2. Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar.
  3. A marketing degree or CIM qualification (desirable but not essential).
  4. Valid UK driving license and own vehicle.
