Senior Architect

Located in Surrey, our client is a vibrant and personable practice comprising six professionals. Serving various regions including Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, and London, they offer a diverse range of design and construction services. Their projects span from £500,000 to £5 million, encompassing residential, commercial, and educational sectors.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Senior Architect to lead projects within the team. If you're in pursuit of a role that promises a harmonious work-life balance, engaging projects, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in the running of projects
• Work on the production design and technical drawing packages
• Speak directly with clients
• Take personal ownership of projects and be the point of contact for the project
• Work on projects across all stages including later technical stages
• Liaise with other team members, contractors, and third parties on a regular basis
• Produce accurate detailed information
• Attend site visits

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years' professional experience in the relevant sectors
• Ability to work independently
• ARB Registered
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential with Revit ability highly beneficial
• A technical test will be part of the interview process
• Experience of running projects and experience of onsite delivery
• Ability to deal with design issues and find innovative solutions
• Love of architecture and keen to embrace new techniques and technologies
• A background working in residential or education would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
• Must be within 45 minutes of commute to the business
