We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a leading financial sector client. This contract position offers a unique chance to showcase and expand your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As the Senior Network Engineer, you will work with the Network Infrastructure and voice team to deliver:

• Configuration and maintenance of routing, switching and security devices within the enterprise campus and Data Centre environments.
• Working collaboratively with other colleagues and contributing towards technical decision making, to deliver results and identify ways to improve performance and effectiveness.
• Lifecycle management for all network devices including upgrades, capacity management and succession planning.
• Support delivery of Network/Voice solution design documents.
• Technical support for complex problems and sharing of specialist experience.
• Using knowledge of network design principles to develop advanced switching and routing, security, Data Centre architectures with VPN and wireless domains.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Network Security
• Detailed knowledge in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, routing protocols and network monitoring
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services
• Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite (MSP, PowerPoint etc.) and ServiceNow
