Worked upon ASE 12.5 and above version and Replication Server 12.6 and above.
Worked on implementation of security controls for Sybase Servers and Instances.
Experience of integrating ASE 16 with external key management systems for full transparent data encryption (TDE).
Should have excellent communication skills.
Creation of Devices, Databases, Segments.
Backups of databases & logs.
User account management.
Performing Recovery of suspect databases.
Refresh of Databases in replication as well as non-replication environment.
Handling of jobs failures.
Troubleshooting Database error and performance Tuning.
Replication Server monitoring and troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting includes check for the replication configuration, threads down, stable device full, RSSD log full, stop and restart threads, repagent and repservers.
Concern for Order and Quality.
Ability to work under pressure.
Balance and progress parallel activities.
Multi-threading tasks without confusion.
Demonstrates interpersonal and team skills, dedication, proactive thinking and working.
Good Communication and presentation skills are a must for interviewing end users.
