MIG Welding Robotic Operator/Programmer
  • Set up and operate robotic MIG welding cells, ensuring parts are manufactured in accordance with the production output targets.
  • Adjust and set/program the welding cell to specification as required.
  • Support the training of new operators, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic welding equipment as required.
  • Recommend design changes to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
  • Develop, in conjunction with the manufacturing team, the weld drawings and weld matrices.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with MIG welding processes is essential.
  • A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical engineering is essential.
  • Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable.
  • An apprenticeship or third-level qualification in manufacturing or welding qualification is desirable.
