MIG Welding Robotic Operator/Programmer

Set up and operate robotic MIG welding cells, ensuring parts are manufactured in accordance with the production output targets.
Adjust and set/program the welding cell to specification as required.
Support the training of new operators, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic welding equipment as required.
Recommend design changes to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
Develop, in conjunction with the manufacturing team, the weld drawings and weld matrices.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience with MIG welding processes is essential.
A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical engineering is essential.
Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable.
An apprenticeship or third-level qualification in manufacturing or welding qualification is desirable.
