We're looking for a senior operative / Production Lead to join our on-site-solution at the Tesco site in Thurrock. It's the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career into a management role. The role will include hands-on operational work with scheduled time to build your skills in the value-add of management, including time working on H&S, Quality and your managerial skillsets.
CHEP manage a large pallet pool which is rented out to customers, and our operations repair and maintain the pallets. The primary purpose of the role is to lead a shift of 11 staff over a Monday to Friday shift, rotating 0600-1400 and 1400-2200. You’ll promote continuous improvement, safety and quality metrics whilst providing leadership to your team. You’ll also build and maintain good relations with 3rd party management teams on site.
