TITLE: Agricultural Real Estate Solicitor

PQE: 5+

LOCATION: London

THE ROLE:
This well regarded firm is seeking a solicitor to join its specialist Real Estate (Agricultural) practice to undertake a wide range of property matters. The role involves a varied and challenging caseload, offering a diverse range of investment sales and acquisitions, as well as development projects for corporate landowners, educational institutions, and charitable organizations. You will also manage transactions involving agricultural land, farms, and estates, along with agricultural and business tenancies, farming partnerships, renewable energy projects, mineral leases, and refinancing transactions for landowners and rural sector businesses.


THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE gained from a leading law firm, with experience in agricultural property matters. Strong technical expertise in hybrid promotion schemes, estate acquisitions and disposals, and strategic land transactions is essential, along with a solid understanding of relevant tax considerations. A genuine interest in energy, food security, and natural resources is highly valued. You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
