Summary:

Our client is looking for a dynamic sales person to help grow the company’s customer base, sell innovative data products, and drive business development opportunities across the energy market. You will identify and nurture new business opportunities, gain support with warm leads through the in-house marketing team and come with experience of working within the energy sector – If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell data, software and metering energy products to both new and existing customers
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and the sales team to handle sales leads and opportunities.
- End-to-end contracting process – Identifying customers, negotiating, securing contracts.
- Identify new business opportunities through CRM, website, LinkedIn, and networking events.
- Be an ambassador for the business at energy industry events and exhibitions.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to current customers.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in enterprise data sales or utility solution selling.
- Strong background in new business development with a solid performance track record.
- Exceptional sales forecasting abilities and a focus on achieving revenue goals.
- A consultative approach to sales, ideally within data, software, analytics.
- Commercial focus with a deep understanding of value-based pricing.
- Ability to inspire clients to embrace transformation through technology solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable presenting at client meetings and industry events.
