Location: Watford - Hybrid (2 days a week in office)

Salary: £37,000 - £46,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Progression + Training + Private Medical + Bonus Scheme + Flexible Hours

Are you an ambitious Software Tester looking for an exciting new role within a successful company where you will be responsible for the software validation of products based on the company's sensor technology?

This company provides specialist data-gathering solutions for engineering companies across a range of industries. They are market leaders within these solutions and are ever-developing new products to take to market. Due to expansion through their loyal client base, they are looking for a Software Tester to join their team.

In this role, you will be supporting timely and efficient product transfer from development to production, identifying weaknesses in products, creating comprehensive test cases, plans, and leading reviews. Collaborating with peers in the development of in-house processes and skills is a big part of this position.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with Python would be beneficial, but they use many languages such as C/C++/C#/LabVIEW/Matlab/JavaScript, etc.

The Role:

1. Researching and recommending tools to improve SQA test planning, execution, and reporting
2. Identifying areas of weakness in products
3. Testing languages such as Python, C/C++, C#, LabVIEW, Matlab, JavaScript

The Person:

1. Experience with testing case/test plans tools
2. Good years of relevant software development experience
3. Experience with source code control and bug tracking tools
