Our client, a leading independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary practice, is seeking an Architectural Assistant with at least their year out industry experience in a UK based practice, to join their residential team in Bedford. This role is ideal for candidates looking to further develop their technical and design skills within a collaborative environment. You will contribute to a variety of architectural projects, assisting in detailed drawings, technical solutions, and planning applications while ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
2. Support project teams with technical detailing and construction solutions.
3. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential project information.
4. Work alongside architects, engineers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality designs.
5. Contribute to planning applications and compliance with UK building regulations.

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

1. Part 1 Architectural Assistant with a minimum of one year of UK industry experience (fresh graduates not considered).
2. Strong AutoCAD proficiency and knowledge of UK building regulations.
3. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and teamwork skills.
4. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
