• Conduct patent searches and analyses to support new product development.
• Offer advice on patent matters to safeguard the company's intellectual property rights.
• Coordinate with external patent attorneys to handle patent applications and maintenance.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of patent agreements.
• Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations that could impact the company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure awareness of patent considerations.
• Identify potential patent infringements and act accordingly.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of patent strategies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Analyst (Patent) should have:

• A degree in Law, or a related field.
• Experience as a Patent Analyst or Paralegal in patent research and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of patent laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends and changes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
