As an Employment Specialist, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working closely under the guidance of the Senior Employment Specialist. Your primary mission will be to establish and embed an innovative vocational rehabilitation program throughout Calderdale. This groundbreaking initiative aims to break down barriers and provide unprecedented opportunities for individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency to regain their independence through sustainable employment.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with individuals facing significant barriers to employment due to drug and alcohol dependency.
• Provide personalised employment support, guidance, and mentoring to empower individuals on their journey toward vocational rehabilitation.
• Facilitate workshops, job readiness training, and mock interviews to enhance participants' skills and confidence.
• Forge strong partnerships with local employers, building a network of job opportunities and fostering a supportive community for our participants.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of innovative strategies to maximise outcomes.
