Location: Home Based (Covering the East Midlands)

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Specification Sales Engineer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will identify, develop, and manage relationships with specifiers (Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Developers, Consultants, and Architects) to promote and sell Daikin Air Source Heat Pumps. What Will You Be Doing?

As a Specification Sales Engineer for Daikin UK, you will be the key link with both New Build and Social Housing clients for the area, promoting and selling our range of Air Source Heat Pumps. You will meet and liaise with both National and Regional Developers to obtain first time Daikin specification and continued specification of Daikin products. Meeting and liaising with Local Authorities and Housing Associations to obtain Daikin specification of Capital Works projects, including one-off replacement programs.

You will:

  1. Manage Existing Specification clients.
  2. Plan for new Specification clients.
  3. Carry out Presentations and CPD’s.
  4. Manage end-to-end project tracking, sales forecasting, and conversion.
  5. Increase specification sales pipeline volumes for renewable products (heat pumps).
  6. Manage projects from initial specification through to contract award by producing designs, technical proposals and promote Daikin as a preferred supplier.
  7. Liaise with Daikin Sales Engineers.
  8. Act as the key contact for after-sales customer care, ensuring expectations and SLAs are met in an efficient manner.
