About the Role

My client is a 10-year-old Hedge Fund looking to expand their team with top engineers and insource all their technology to add value and build on their technical advantage.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned systems engineer who has experience with or exposure to:

1. Infra-as-Code - ideally with the HashiCorp stack (Vault, Consul, Nomad, Terraform and/or Packer).
2. Automation tools - Puppet, Ansible.
3. Windows services administration (Active Directory, etc.).
4. Production use of Containers, KVM, LXC, libvirt, Proxmox technologies/products in the virtualization stack.
5. Well-established high-availability techniques such as Keepalived and HAProxy.
6. Git workflow (Gitlab, Github, CI/CD pipelines).
7. Strong automation skills and a deep understanding of computer hardware, networks, and network equipment would be considered a bonus.

They are looking for someone who is experienced working with highly performant systems and is interested in working in a small global team to build an on-premise build-out stack with everything as code.
