Are you a Mechanical Technician with experience in the installation, overhaul, service & maintenance of rotating equipment such as pumps, valves & turbines looking for the next exciting step in your career with a great company in a Monday-Friday days-based role?

Excellent opportunity on offer for a Mechanical Technician to join a global company with a great reputation in their industry for the levels of service they provide to their loyal client base worldwide.

This fantastic company are specialists within the rotating equipment arena & they are well known for supporting projects across a range of industries. They provide extensive services for the installation, commissioning, service & overhaul of rotating equipment and due to a heavy workload, they are now looking to add a Mechanical Technician to their team in Southampton.

The Role:

1. Installation, refurbishment & overhaul of rotating equipment
2. Working on pumps, valves & turbines
3. Adhering to strict health & safety guidelines
4. Working to tight deadlines

The Ideal Candidate:

1. NVQ 3 Qualified with previous working on the installation, service & maintenance of rotating equipment
2. Experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry or a similar working environment
3. Good working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, fans, mixers, motors, valves, turbines, bearings, seals, alignments
4. A good communicator & a team player
5. Ability to get security clearance & safety passports
