Qualifications

Job description

Our client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Supervisor based within their Machine Shop. This is a hands-on role, where you will lead a small team of 3 by example. Previous CNC experience is a must.


As a Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include:

  1. Supervising a small team, currently consisting of 2 Engineers and 1 Apprentice.
  2. Providing electrical/mechanical maintenance for site facilities, Foundry equipment and machinery, including CNC machinery (Romi, Mazak).
  3. Adhering to PPM/TPM schedules and responsive reaction to breakdowns.
  4. Reading and working from electrical/panel drawings, fault finding down to a component level.
  5. PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults.
  6. Installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Supervisor, the ideal candidate will:

  1. Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with bias to heavy industry/manufacturing.
  2. Have an electrical qualification (level 3 or above).
  3. Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc).

On offer:

  1. A basic salary of up to £50K DOE.
  2. Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
  3. 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
