Are you a commercial associate considering the move in-house? Are you interested in joining a dynamic and expanding Compliance & Risk team within a prestigious international law firm? RedLaw is partnering with a leading global firm to find a skilled Risk Counsel to strengthen their growing team in London. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a Qualified Solicitor with extensive commercial experience who is looking to transition into an in-house role, while still thriving in the dynamic and collaborative environment of a leading law firm. You will report directly to the Head of Corporate Risk & Governance and work closely with the General Counsel, playing a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Policy development
2. Conducting file audits
3. Delivering training
4. Managing contractual matters for both client engagements and supplier relationships

Key Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience and a solid foundation in commercial law.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, productive relationships across all levels of the firm, fostering collaboration and trust.
• Skilled in conveying complex issues with clarity, and able to deliver difficult decisions effectively and diplomatically.
• Experience within a large City or international law firm is highly desirable.
