Max Well Therapy is looking for a Full or Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) to join our team!

We are growing and in need of a Speech Language Pathologist at our Brighton location (located inside Laugh and Learn Autism Center). You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Occupational Therapists. This position will treat primarily pediatrics!

Position Requirements:

1. Performs patient evaluations and administers treatments.
2. Designs and revises plans of care and goals.
3. Provides written and/or verbal reports to physicians.
4. Completes documentation according to unit standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Able to respect and understand patient’s right to treatment and right to be involved in treatment decisions.
6. Able to maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the department/facility.
7. Responsible for completion and submission of all reports pertaining to evaluation.
8. Must be able to refer to other therapies in the clinic depending on patients needs.
9. Conduct initial evaluations, and provide skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
10. Make decisions and suggest ideas to improve the clinic and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an approved school of Speech Language Pathology.
2. Current license in Speech Language Pathology in Michigan.
3. Pediatric experience is preferred.
4. Evening hours are preferred.
