Platform / DevOps Engineer (DV or eDV Cleared)

Location: Hybrid (Primarily On-Site Due to Client Requirements)

Must Have: Active DV or eDV Clearance

About the Role:

I am looking for passionate, experienced DV/eDV Platform/DevOps Engineers to join a team and support large-scale projects within the National Security and Defence sectors. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly secure environment on impactful projects that require agility, innovation, and cutting-edge technology - with a company on the up and driving innovation across the NSD culture.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must hold active DV or eDV clearance. While hybrid working is available, the role will require on-site presence to meet project demands and ensure the highest levels of security.

What You’ll Do:

1. Collaborate within agile, cross-functional engineering teams to design, build, and improve digital services.
2. Implement, automate, and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform.
3. Deploy and manage scalable solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and associated DevOps practices.
4. Champion DevOps culture by integrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
5. Leverage monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus for system reliability.
6. Enhance security practices and ensure compliance with stringent security and accreditation standards.

What You’ll Bring:

1. Active DV or eDV clearance is essential due to the nature of the work.
2. Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
3. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerisation tools like Docker.
4. Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
5. Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
6. Knowledge of cloud-native and microservices architectures.
7. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Things We Like:

1. Familiarity with tools like ArgoCD, Ansible, and HashiCorp Vault.
2. Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM and network security.
3. Previous experience in highly regulated environments is advantageous.
