Lab Assistant - 12 Month FTC

Your role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Lab Assistant to join our Manufacturing Team in Glasgow on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Our Lab Assistant will be trained to perform a wide variety of tasks to support manufacture of client product under GMP conditions. Duties of the role include cleaning, documentation completion, housekeeping, stock control and general equipment maintenance. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with support services, scientists and laboratory personnel is the key to success in this role.

Who you are:

1. Nat 5 (GCSE) or HND in a relevant subject
2. Previous experience in a relevant hands-on role is preferred although training is provided
3. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant compliance regulations
4. Works to their own initiative to complete all assigned tasks.
5. Actively maintains a clean, tidy and safe work environment, maintaining H&S standards at all times.
6. Strong planning, organisation and interpersonal skills, as well as high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
