The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for a national data network and provides technical infrastructure services to include local and wide area networks, server estate, firewalls, data storage, IT security and telecommunications.
The role
As the Infrastructure Manager, you’ll provide technical consultancy to the business in support of new business requirements, plan and implement new infrastructure initiatives. This will include research, testing and implementation of a wide range of technologies in-line with business requirements.
This is a hands-on role, requiring both practical and technical expertise and the management of a technical team. In addition to the technical expertise, you’ll lead and develop the IT Infrastructure team, working collaboratively to achieve goals. You’ll define team objectives, assign responsibilities, oversee daily operations, and monitor team performance.
Accountabilities
Location: Stockport. With the option for hybrid working (3 days in the Stockport office) upon completion of the induction/training period.
