Notice Period: 1 week during probation, 4 weeks thereafter
As a Junior Interactive Artist, you will bring designs to life through high-quality, photorealistic visualisations and immersive interactive environments. Working closely with senior members of the team as well as external parties, you will play a vital role in creating compelling 3D experiences that captivate and inspire.
Key requirements:
Experience in Unreal Engine 5 and its content creation pipeline.
Strong skills in asset modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and light mapping.
Experience with 3ds Max and Datasmith for Unreal Engine.
Understanding of end-to-end delivery of realtime applications (from concept to deployment).
Team collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in Architecture, Engineering & Construction is desirable, but not a requirement.
Knowledge of 3D CAD AEC workflows - experience in working with Rhino and/or Revit would be highly advantageous.
Experience with procedural tools such as Houdini.
VR/XR experience.
Familiarity with Blueprint scripting or basic C++ knowledge.
Experience working as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or relevant work experience in realtime applications development (AEC preferred, but not a requirement).
Key responsibilities
Produce great visual output in Unreal for interactive as well as static use cases.
Act as a support artist on projects alongside Senior Artists as part of a team.
Model in 3DS Max (and other AEC software - as appropriate) for Unreal use.
Be design aware; Interpret and interrogate design data (AEC drawings, documents and models) and liaise with design team professionals.
Work with and utilise department scene template knowledge and presets.
