Management Accountant - Manufacturing Company
Bristol
£45,000 - £50,000 + 33 days AL + Flexi working + Income protection + Medical cashback plan

This is a great opportunity for a Finance professional to join a well-established but still growing manufacturing company in Bristol. They enjoy a low turnover of staff and work closely across departments, making this a collaborative place to work!

The Role:

  1. Drive financial processes and business performance, working closely with the finance director.
  2. Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly statements, statutory accounts, and management information.
  3. Manage costing information, work in progress, and inventory records to drive performance.
  4. Oversee ledger activities and assist with internal and external financial queries.
  5. Conduct detailed analysis of company activities, including R&D and warranty costs.
  6. Deliver comprehensive project cost and sales margin reports.
  7. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting processes.
  8. Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process.

The Candidate:

  1. Degree in finance or equivalent.
  2. Qualified chartered accounting degree (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or working towards.
  3. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  4. Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
  5. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  6. Excellent communication and networking skills.
