Job Brief:

We are currently looking for a 3.5 ton Driver/Loader based in Aston Birmingham (B6). Clearabee is the largest on-demand same-day waste removal company in the UK. We work on a Man & Van basis and cover the whole of the UK, working alongside big national supermarkets, sofa companies, and other waste clearance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Driving a 3.5 ton vehicle.
• Collecting waste from domestic properties efficiently.
• Collecting waste from big national companies and their clients in a professional manner.

Examples of jobs:

• Moving furniture as part of a two-person team from inside the customer property (beds, washing machines, sofas, etc.).
• Clearing installation waste (bagged and unbagged) from inside or outside properties.
• Undertaking a garden clearance.
• Emptying wheelie bins when the regular contractor has been unable to attend due to a service issue or overloading of the bins.
• Emptying commercial bins from restaurants (be mindful this is a man & van service, so we collect by hand; gloves are provided).
• Carrying out large property clearances.

Skills Required:

• Clear DBS.
• No more than 6 points on license.
• Held license for 1 year minimum (we will not be able to insure you if it is under 1 year).
• Must be able to use own smartphone & have data & minutes.
• Must have driven a 3.5 ton van or a vehicle of a similar size.

Hours & Pay:

• £11 per hour including bonus (£10.50 + 50p bonus) paid for every hour worked with a potential of earning up to £34,000 p/a.
• Monthly pay to your bank account but with access to your wages as you earn them through our on-demand payment system.
• 28 days paid holiday.
• 35-hour minimum guarantee contract; we expect all drivers to work around 50 hours a week (2 out of 4 Saturdays is a requirement).
• 7am starts - 6pm finish is an average (finish times vary daily) with 10-12 hour shifts.
