Yell are looking for a Growth and Proposition Manager!
As the Yell.com Growth & Proposition Manager, you will focus on generating consumer traffic and delivering the best experience for visitors, alongside ensuring the site delivers value and a strong ROI for our paying Solutions customers. Effectively managing this tension between consumers and customers will be key to role success.
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Growth & Proposition Manager, with a strong grounding in both B2C and B2B, who has a proven track record of delivering results. Working within the wider Marketing department, you will collaborate across a wide array of departments to ensure you take initiatives to market through excellent execution and process adherence, engaging key stakeholders along the way.

Our aim is simple - to help customers achieve their business goals. We do this by building and managing a customised digital marketing programme for their business.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Yell.com proposition for both B2B & B2C audiences, ensuring the platform continuously evolves to meet changing customer needs.
- Conduct proposition discovery and market research to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand pain points, challenges, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Support SEO activity alongside 3rd party.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to evolve tools that enhance our products, processes or drive efficiency gains.
- Ensure the seamless implementation of new proposition initiatives following GTM processes.
- Monitor and analyse live product performance, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Raise invoices and control 3rd party costs.
- Manage B2B and B2C organic social media activity, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and engagement goals.
- Support PR planning and approvals in collaboration with our PR agency.
- Source internal and external subject matter experts to provide expert commentary for our blog posts, ensuring credibility and depth.
- Form and maintain partnerships with trade associations such as TrustMark to enhance industry collaboration and authority.
Requirements
- Proven proposition development experience working across B2C and B2B.
- Ability to effectively manage, influence and collaborate with 3rd parties and internal senior stakeholders.
- Commercial thinking and understanding of direct cost control (e.g. invoice management).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage BAU escalations.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Familiarity with AI driven tools (e.g. Generative AI) would be an advantage.
- Product Manager certification / role experience and working in an agile environment.
- Experience in or awareness of Miro / Jira tools would be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience managing organic social media posts for B2B and B2C audiences, ensuring brand alignment and engagement.
- Experience supporting PR planning and approvals, including collaboration with external agencies.
- Ability to source and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to enhance content quality.
- Experience or willingness to form and maintain partnerships with industry trade associations to strengthen brand credibility.
This is a home-based opportunity with occasional travel to the Reading office for meetings as and when required.
