Job description

I am working with a top Accountancy firm in the UK, with the roots of the business proudly stemming from Scottish soil, offering an impressive portfolio of financial services clients and a highly supportive environment in which to continue your career progression.

The firm has offices across all corners of the United Kingdom, but are looking in particular to strengthen their team in the Edinburgh office. They have great ambitions to continue their rapid growth this year, offer a great culture and flexible working, and the opportunity to make this portfolio your own as you work beyond Senior Manager.

General Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of a financial services focused portfolio with clients varying across sector and size.
  • Take on greater client-facing responsibilities as you oversee the smooth running of your section.
  • Promote the high standards of the firm and bring in new opportunities.
  • Involvement in all aspects of the audit process from planning through to reporting.
  • Ensure timely delivery to the high standard expected of the firm.
  • Take active involvement with delegation of work, training juniors, and reviewing work.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Adept with IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Experience in a practice environment in the UK, able to work with a range of financial services clients.
  • Right to work without sponsorship in the UK.
