Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

About the Role

I am looking for a talented UI Designer/Developer to join my clients team on a 6-month fixed-term contract in London. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge UI component development within a content management system (CMS) environment.

You’ll play a key role in designing and developing user-friendly interfaces, ensuring seamless functionality, and enhancing user experiences across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain UI components within a CMS.
2. Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
3. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
4. Utilize jQuery and AngularJS to build dynamic UI elements.
5. Ensure UI components meet accessibility and usability standards.
6. Troubleshoot and optimize performance across different devices and browsers.

Skills & Experience Required

1. Proven experience in UI design and development.
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, and jQuery.
3. Experience working with AngularJS is beneficial.
4. Prior experience developing UI components within a CMS environment.
5. Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative hybrid environment.
