The Specialist Advice and Support Services (SASS) division provide four core functions:
As a group of Specialist Services, we work closely with other health providers such as Primary Care, Acute Hospitals, & Ambulance service as well other services within Sirona such as the Integrated Network Teams (INTs). We work closely with the Voluntary sector to support a pathway approach to managing long term conditions. We have a strong focus on collaborative working to enable knowledge and skill development to improve patient health needs and outcomes.
The specialist services work as role models and an expert resource to ensure that health care professionals within and outside the organisation have access to the right knowledge, skills and resources so that evidence based care is embedded as a fundamental tenet across all pathways.
Service hours: 0800-1830 seven days a week (this role is Monday -Friday).
Location: Initially based at New Friends Hall, Heath House Lane, Stapleton, Bristol, with the post holder expected to travel to other bases when required. A service review is expected in 2025/26 which will align the post holder with specific services which could mean a change of base within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
