The Role:

As a Junior Trader, you'll assist in buying and selling fresh produce, supporting customer programmes, and learning how to negotiate with suppliers and customers to maximise profit. This is a hands-on role where you'll be trained in the trading process and develop key commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Liaison: Build and manage relationships with food service businesses, wholesalers, and B2B clients.
2. Order & Stock Management: Create orders, manage stock levels, and ensure inventory accuracy.
3. Delivery Coordination: Work with logistics to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
4. Programme Management: Oversee customer programmes, ensuring contracted volumes are met.
5. Administrative Support: Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and transaction records.
6. Internal Collaboration: Work with commercial and operations teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth processes.
7. Daily Trading Support: Assist the commercial team with purchases, sales, and programme updates.
8. Customer Issue Resolution: Handle customer queries and problems promptly and professionally.
