Senior Consultant | Financial Control & Fund Finance | Coopman Search & Selection

Coopman Search is delighted to be working in partnership with one of the most impressive private credit boutiques in London on their growth plans for 2025.

We are looking to speak with talented Fund Controllers who are passionate about providing serious value add to the deal, portfolio and IR teams.

This broad role will see you joining a solid team of 10 Fund finance professionals, taking a more senior position to a number of talented Fund Accountants who will seek to learn a lot from the incoming Controller.

What to expect day to day:

• Monitor fund performance and offer valuable insights into commercial data.
• Manage capital calls, distribution notices and oversee third party administration reporting.
• Review quarterly investor reports and capital account statements.
• Review financial statements and NAV production prepared under Lux GAAP.
• Provide investor relations support, ensuring effective communication and reporting.
• Gain deep understanding of each deal, the fund forecasting models and the LPA behind each fund.
• Address ad-hoc investor inquiries with timely and accurate responses.
• Review tax reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations for UK, US and Lux.
• Preparation of waterfall and carry calculations.
• Review management fee calculations, approval of valuation calculations and support other Controllers in valuation process.
• Organize and manage board processes related to investment considerations, including reviewing board minutes.
• Supervise and streamline the funding process to ensure efficiency.
• Assist with the establishment of new fund structures, transactions, or restructurings by liaising with legal teams and notaries.
• Supporting annual audit process.
• Oversee the management of hedging strategies and processes.

Experience required:

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experienced with LUX structured private credit or debt funds.
• Team player with adaptable approach to a dynamic work landscape.
