GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a dedicated team at a school in Fareham. This exciting role will allow you to engage with students and ensure a positive learning environment while teachers are absent.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor in Fareham, you will be responsible for supervising students across various subjects, ensuring they remain engaged and follow the lesson plans provided. You'll play a key role in helping students stay on track and maintaining a structured environment throughout their lessons. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and has a passion for supporting their academic development.

Key Responsibilities for the Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task, following lesson plans provided.
• Manage student behaviour effectively, creating a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Provide support for students with diverse learning needs.
• Report any issues regarding student engagement or behaviour to the appropriate staff.
• Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management protocols.

Requirements for the Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• An enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting students.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
