Are you a graduate who has experience teaching, tutoring, or have taught abroad?

Would you like to gain qualified teacher status through the new teacher training apprenticeship, starting in September 2025? This is the perfect opportunity to earn whilst you learn! We are supporting a number of thriving secondary schools in Manchester to recruit a number of trainee teachers.

The salary for this position is from £22,000 - £29,000 (subject depending) and you will receive excellent training and support throughout.

Our schools are well known for supporting graduates with teacher training and you will be provided with your own experienced mentor.

Graduate Teacher Training - about the role:

1. September start
2. Join a welcoming school and deliver lessons to pupils in your subject specialism
3. Be supported by outstanding teachers and a strong leadership team
4. Excellent pay rates with a salary of up to £29,000, working school hours.
5. Work full time 5 days per week, term time only
6. Excellent mentoring and training delivered by the school and training provider
7. High expectations with pupils achieving excellent results

Graduate Teacher - person specification

1. Degree in either Maths, Science, Technology, MFL, Computer Science, Geography
2. Great subject knowledge
3. A passion for education
4. Previous tutoring or teaching experience desirable
5. GCSEs C/4 or above in English and Maths (and a copy of the actual certificates)
6. You must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
7. The ability to teach a minimum of 12 hours or a 50% timetable, sole teaching from the beginning of programme
