About you:

We are currently hiring a highly motivated and ambitious Social Media Manager to refine and execute our social media strategy aimed at increasing our brand awareness & differentiating ourselves as a brand, driving engagement, and generating sales.

We are looking for someone who can build a strong short form video content system for organic social media (IG and Tiktok primarily with some focus on Youtube & Pinterest) that consistently delivers high engagement and fosters a community of loyal followers.

Your goal will be to create a reliable pipeline of engaging, potentially viral video content, with an initial target of one video per day, and gradually increasing output. This role involves creating a robust content calendar, managing influencer relationships, coordinating high-quality content production, and ensuring the success of our social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy and Planning:
   • Develop and manage a content calendar based on seasonal trends, product launches, and current viral trends.
   • Take inventory of existing content and identify needs for new content creation, including filming and editing videos and sourcing new materials.
   • Work with the influencer team to source content from influencers and content creators.
   • Create video briefs & write copy, negotiate prices, and manage influencer relationships to maximize the quality and quantity of content.
2. Content Production:
   • Collaborate with the content team to source video content for socials involving models and videographers.
   • Prepare detailed briefs with shot lists for specific shoots, ensuring high-quality output.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
   • Regularly analyze social media performance and provide detailed reports.
4. Budget Management:
   • Manage the social media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to hit our goals.

Desired Qualities:

• 2+ years of experience in social media for a DTC brand, agency or your own account.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
• Experience working with influencers and managing content partnerships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
