Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary: £17 - £20 per hour, depending on experience

Pact Engineering is an established family-owned precision engineering business in Luton, Bedfordshire, specialising in manufacturing high quality complex parts for the motorsport, food production and other industries with an excellent reputation.

Are you a competent engineer looking for a new challenge? We are looking to hire a CNC Miller to join our team.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in programming, setting or operating a range of machines in a busy machine shop environment.
2. Competent CNC programmer on HEIDENHAIN controls or willing to learn.
3. Competent in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and knowledge of the standards required to produce a high-quality finish.
4. The ability to use modern inspection equipment.
5. Be able to work using your own initiative with the minimum of supervision in a team environment.

What you can expect:

3. A permanent contract, full time, 40 hour basic week, Monday to Friday plus overtime.
4. Non contractual overtime if you want it.
5. Holiday pay, starting at 20 days per annum, plus Bank Holidays.
