The Role

In this role, you will serve as the internal and external representative for LabelWorx. You’ll foster strategic partnerships with DSPs, Record Labels, Artists and Music Conferences. Leveraging your strong industry connections, you will uncover and bring valuable opportunities to the organisation. You'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by leading all related initiatives across LabelWorx, collaborating closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, and contributing directly to strategic initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying areas for innovation and strategic growth.

What you’ll be doing
  • Collaborating with other executives for strategic initiatives
  • Determining areas of improvement or growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the platform and the wider digital music sector
  • Provide insights and recommendations on competing platforms and industry developments
  • Utilise data analytics and reporting tools to track performance metrics, monitor account health, and identify growth opportunities
  • Define and set up KPI’s, generate regular reports on key account performance and report performance to senior management
  • Communicating organisational goals
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and provide guidance to ensure alignment of goals and successful implementation of partnership initiatives
Requirements
Experience:
  • Proven senior leadership experience in the music industry, with a strong track record of managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
Industry Knowledge & Expertise
  • Deep understanding of digital music distribution and streaming platforms, including a strong awareness of market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in forming and managing strategic partnerships with DSPs, record labels and artists.
  • Familiarity with music rights and licensing.
Strategic & Analytical Skills:
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and develop action plans to expand market presence, product features, and monetisation channels.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data analytics and reporting tools to track performance metrics, measure success, and recommend data-driven actions.
  • Experience defining and setting KPIs, including the ability to generate and present regular performance reports to senior management and C-suite executives.
Leadership & Communication:
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, influence stakeholders, and secure buy-in at the highest levels of the organisation.
  • Team-building and mentorship experience, fostering collaboration and alignment of goals across multiple departments.
  • Proven track record in change management, able to lead teams through transitions, implement organisational improvements, and drive consensus on strategic priorities.
Strategic Relationship Management:
  • Experience working directly with external partners (DSPs, artists, conferences, etc.) to maintain and grow relationships that drive revenue and brand presence.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal deals, licensing terms, and partnership agreements.
  • Ability to represent the organisation externally, acting as a brand ambassador at conferences, industry events, and in high-profile client meetings.
