Partnerships Contract ManagerSalary: Grade 8, £54,064 to £59,415 FTE
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week). Part time also considered.

The Five Councils PartnershipThe Five Councils Partnership is well established between a group of local authorities in the South of England and a commercial partner. The Partnership has changed significantly, and we are now entering a new phase where we are exiting parts of the contract and extending others. This means a change to how we manage our operations and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Contract Manager who will help to oversee this transition and then go on to be the Lead Client for all of the council partners.
This role requires an expert contract manager who has well-developed partnership and programme skills and can work across a range of stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment. You will be working with subject matter experts, representatives from the councils, and our commercial partners to help ensure proper management, governance, and ongoing transformation of the contract areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the transition of contracts and manage ongoing operations.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure effective contract governance.
- Negotiate resolutions to commercial disputes.
- Identify problems and provide effective solutions.
Qualifications:- Strong partnership working and enabling skills.
- Experience in a politically sensitive environment.
- Track record of management and governance.
- Excellent communication skills.
