Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Field-Based Homecare Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the South East Region.

Alcura, a leading homecare provider, which is part of Cencora, plays a vital role in the provision of exceptional homecare services. Everything we do impacts our most valuable asset: the patient.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Provide clinical nursing support in accordance with our protocols and maintain competencies through scheduled patient treatments.
  2. Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical care (e.g., cannulation, phlebotomy, injection techniques) and attend necessary training to maintain nursing registration.
  3. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and governance requirements, demonstrating awareness of CQC registration processes.
  4. Maintain clinical registration and uphold professional standards of care in line with NMC Code of Conduct.
  5. Report adverse events, complaints, and service failures promptly according to company policy.
  6. Document all clinical activities, observations, and feedback as per NMC standards.
  7. Communicate clinical matters through established pathways within the hospital or pharmaceutical company.
  8. Provide comprehensive reporting to your line manager within clear time frames, ensuring any professional concerns are escalated promptly.
  9. Maintain adequate stock levels for required medical equipment and ensure safe storage practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A qualified nurse (RGN, part 1 NMC Register, RSCN where appropriate).
  • Highly motivated, positive, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent report and record-keeping skills.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and a strong communicator.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Experience of working in a community setting (desirable)
  • Experience in an acute care setting/relevant ENB post registration (desirable)
