Job description

CPL Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively partnering with our client, recruiting for a Broker Development Manager on a permanent full-time offering based in Belfast with hybrid working. Salary and bonus will be discussed in more detail.

Please note that you must have hold a Certificate in Insurance (CII) along with demonstrable experience in Commercial or Retail Insurance before applying.

The role:

With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, you’ll:

  • Proactively reach out and work with a network of brokers.
  • Build profitable business relationships in alignment with the overall growth plan.
  • Provide exceptional and high-quality service to brokers, such as sales, retentions, profitability and submission volumes, with a focus on underwriting quality performance spanning a range of insurance products.
The person:
  • Certificate in Insurance (CII) along with 3 years experience in Commercial or Retail Insurance.
  • Commitment to completing CIP (paid for by client) within 12 months of appointment.
  • Experience in a similar Sales & Relationship Management role.
  • Strong Relationship & Influencing Skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Able to interact and influence people from a variety of different seniority, cultures, and business disciplines.
  • A flair for organising and planning with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle as some business-related travel will be required.
