- Experience in public speaking and community liaison work

Your contribution to our company
- Overall responsibility for providing effective security systems and procedures which are assimilated and implemented throughout the Secure Group. Reporting to the Secure Sector Director, the Security Manager is accountable for the drafting, approval and implementation of security plans to comply with relevant legislation and customer requirements and for ensuring STRABAG UK employees working on restricted/classified projects comply with UKSV requirements.
- Ensuring the implementation of the Security Policy and Security Management Plan & Procedures with STRABAG UK Infrastructure as appropriate.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Security Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with Company Policy and relevant UK Government Legislation and Standards.
- Responsible for understanding client security arrangements, cross matching against STRABAG UK processes and implementation across all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining a Security Vetting System to meet UKSV requirements and ensure that where required, all STRABAG employees hold appropriate levels of clearance.
- Briefing and guidance of the sub-division management, group management, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and 3rd parties on the Security Plan and subordinate procedures.
- Assessment of internal/external security risks, including development and implementation of mitigation measures into design and construction planning.
- Liaising with client’s security teams, local enforcement agencies and landowners to discuss Plans of Action against threats and civil unrest.
- Provide annual Threat Briefs to inform personnel of key security risks and ensure regular dissemination of changes to the threat/risk status.
- Working with key stakeholders to safeguard common land areas and access roads from disruption/inconvenience.
- Driving innovation, recruitment and upskilling of the Secure Infrastructure team in all security matters and managing continuous improvement through the roll-out of appropriate training schemes.
